Meet Lisa – Founder of Aging Matters

My passion for working with older adults began nearly a decade ago and has only deepened over time. I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles across the senior care continuum—including senior living, home health, and community-based support services. Through these experiences, I’ve witnessed firsthand the joys, challenges, and transitions that come with aging. I’ve also come to believe deeply that growing older is not something to be feared—but embraced with intention, support, and the right tools.

My strong educational foundation, combined with years of hands-on experience, allows me to provide a unique blend of emotional insight, evidence-based strategies, and compassionate care tailored specifically to older adults and their families.

My work focuses on three core service areas:

  1. Senior Living Advising – Guiding families and individuals through the complex decisions of choosing the right living environment.

  2. Life Transition Coaching – Supporting individuals through major changes such as retirement, caregiving roles, health shifts, or grief.

  3. Positive Aging Education – Promoting purpose, resilience, and wellness through workshops, resources, and one-on-one support.

At Aging Matters, I’ve created a space where older adults—and those who care for them—can find clarity, connection, and confidence during times of change. My approach is strengths-based, person-centered, and always rooted in respect for the rich lives and unique identities of the people I work with.

If you're facing a transition, feeling uncertain about the next chapter, or simply want guidance from someone who truly understands aging from the inside out, I’m here to help.

Because every season in life matters—and your next one deserves to be your best yet.
